The HVG, is a peer lead self help group that provides a safe and supportive place for people with lived experience of hearing voices, visions, and other unusual sensory perceptions. If you hear voices, you are not alone. Studies show that around one in ten people will hear voices at some point in their lives. Hearing voices is a very personal experience and is different for everyone, in terms of what the voices say and the life events that provoke them. Starting in May 2025, the fortnightly group has been meeting at Unique State, and engaging in participant lead artworks that seek to explore and share each individuals experiences with the wider public.
