In this exhibition, artist Bec Cutler traces the quiet conversation between material and maker, being and becoming. Working with textiles, wood, paper and other materials, the artworks move between two and three dimensions, exploring form, balance, and transformation. At their core lies an awareness of life’s cycles—growth, decay, and return—where natural matter carries both memory and impermanence. Each piece invites reflection on how materials hold us in the present, while also reminding us of nature’s enduring rhythms. Matter + Mind is both an act of making and a meditation on how we live, create, and return to the earth.
