Adrian Aylott, Soundscape IV, watercolour, 2023.
The Resonant Mark is a survey of artwork to emerge from the Creative Arts Program 'Painting with Parkinson’s,' founded in 1994 by Churchill Fellow Nancy Tingey.
The program provides a context of creative practice for those who have come to terms with the diagnosis of their Parkinson's condition. As well as providing an enhanced experience for those involved in the program.
In each case, the artworks attest to the significance of the program in a therapeutic context. The title The Resonant Mark is in part a reference to this synaesthetic experience.
