Work in Progress: Freeroam Theatre

  • Station Creative Workspace 54-58 Johnston Street Wagga Wagga, NSW, 2650 Australia (map)

Freeroam Theatre Incorporated is a not-for-profit theatre company working at the core of a vibrant arts sector in Wagga Wagga and the Riverina, on Wiradjuri land.

Join us for a drink after work and be inspired by a behind the scenes look at their upcoming production War of the Worlds.

Freeroam Theatre invites you to look up at the night sky… and maybe get a little closer to the edge of your seat. Presenting a bold, reimagined War of the Worlds — a fresh take on the legendary 1898 classic by H.G. Wells, adapted right here for our own backyard.

Freeroam Theatre is led by young, skilled artists with the belief that to see, experience and understand the creative arts is a fundamental right that should be available to everyone, and not limited by locality. This is why Freeroam have taken an inclusive and holistic approach to providing professional and educational opportunities to artists in regional areas, particularly within Wagga Wagga and the Riverina.

Work in Progress is a regular event in which artists and creatives are invited to show a piece of unfinished creative work (visual, performative, experimental and more), within a context of supportive critique and collaborative networking.
